Description
An Ethos 7920 professional multifunction electrical installation tester, designed for the certification and troubleshooting of domestic and industrial wiring. The unit is housed in a robust yellow and grey plastic casing featuring rubberised side grips for impact resistance and an adjustable black fabric neck strap. The front panel is equipped with a central LCD screen, a large rotary function selector, and several control buttons including TEST, ZERO, and function keys F1 through F4. The top of the instrument features colour-coded input ports for neutral (blue), protective earth (green), and line (brown). The rear specification plate indicates compliance with BSEN 61557 standards and bears the serial number 24910F11048. Testing functions include voltage, loop impedance, prospective fault current (Pfc), RCD trip testing, insulation resistance, and low-ohm continuity. The tester is accompanied by an Ethos 7925 remote test probe lead assembly with an integrated UK 13A mains plug, and a separate bundle of standard test leads with colour-coded blue and orange/brown connectors.
