Description
A Saint Tropez model armchair designed and manufactured by Calligaris in Italy. The chair is constructed with a single-piece, ergonomically moulded polycarbonate shell in a translucent amber or honey colour. The interior of the shell features a distinctive embossed quilted or honeycomb texture, while the exterior surface is smooth. The design integrates the backrest, seat, and flared armrests into one organic form. The shell is supported by a four-legged tubular metal frame with a polished gold-toned finish. The underside of the seat bears the embossed maker’s mark reading calligaris MADE IN ITALY accompanied by the company’s circular logo.
Condition report:
The chair is in good overall condition. Consistent with the material, there are fine surface scratches and scuff marks visible upon close inspection, primarily on the seat area and at common points of contact. The gold-finished metal frame shows no significant signs of pitting or tarnishing.
