Description
A set of four contemporary Italian design seating pieces from the Basil collection by Calligaris, comprising three side chairs and one tall bar stool. Each piece features an ergonomic, leaf-inspired shell crafted from moulded polypropylene, characterised by a central vertical ridge to the back and seat. The set includes two pieces in charcoal grey (one bar stool and one side chair), one in mustard yellow, and one in sky blue. The support structures vary: two side chairs feature four-legged frames in powder-coated metal colour-matched to the shells, while one side chair and the bar stool are mounted on splayed natural-finish wood legs. The bar stool is fitted with a circular chrome-plated metal footrest. The undersides of the plastic shells are embossed with the manufacturer mark calligaris, a circular logo depicting a penguin, and the text MADE IN ITALY, alongside production batch and date stamps.
Bar Stool: Height approx. 100cm, Seat height approx. 75cm.
Side Chairs: Height approx. 84cm, Seat height approx. 45cm.
Condition report:
The items are in good, used condition. The plastic shells exhibit minor surface scuffs and light scratches consistent with residential or light commercial use. The wooden legs and powder-coated metal frames remain structurally sound with no significant damage noted. The chrome footrest on the stool shows light wear.
