Description
This contemporary hand-woven rug is the Vidar design, created by Jens Landberg Schrøder for the Danish brand Fabula Living. The piece features a dense, shorn pile crafted from a blend of New Zealand wool and viscose, woven onto a sturdy cotton warp. The use of viscose provides a subtle, lustrous sheen and a mottled texture characteristic of the Vidar collection. The rug is finished in the 1818 forest green colourway. It retains two original manufacturer’s labels: one black leatherette tag embossed with FABULA LIVING and a detailed specification label confirming the design, materials, and size. Condition report:
The rug is in generally good condition with the forest green colour remaining vibrant. The pile exhibits typical tracking and surface variation associated with viscose blends. There are several deep indentations and pressure marks from furniture legs clearly visible in the pile. Professional grooming or steaming may be required to remediate these marks.
