Description
A pair of contemporary Italian pendant ceiling lamps manufactured by Cattelan Italia, model Byblos S. Each light features a shade in a teardrop or bulbous form with an elongated, narrow neck. The construction consists of a grey-green stretch-knit technical fabric overlaid on a smoked acrylic or polycarbonate inner diffuser. The ceiling roses and associated fittings are finished in a matte black metal. Each lamp is equipped with a single E27 screw-in bulb holder, designed for use with a maximum 15W PAR LED or 23W fluorescent bulb. An interior label in the ceiling rose confirms the maker and model as Cattelan Italia S.p.A., Made in Italy, Byblos S, and provides electrical specifications for 230V 50/60Hz, alongside the CE mark and WEEE symbol.

Condition report:
The lamps are in good overall condition. Visible minor surface marks and small white flecks are present on the woven fabric of both shades. The fabric shows light dust accumulation commensurate with age and use. The mounting hardware is included, though the electrical cables have been cut for removal and will need to be rewired. It is recommended that these items be inspected and installed by a qualified electrician and PAT tested before use.
