Description
A collection of three contemporary designer bar stools manufactured by Cattelan Italia, Italy. The set includes three distinct models, each featuring high-quality leather or eco-leather upholstery over internal frames. The first stool features a cream-coloured seat with a distinctive ruched soft finish on the backrest, supported by a black-coated metal pedestal base with a flat square floor plate and an integrated triangular footrest. The second stool is upholstered in a smooth taupe leather with contoured lines and visible perimeter stitching, mounted on a brushed or polished steel pedestal base with a square floor plate and a wrap-around U-shaped footrest. The third stool features a grey leather upholstered seat with clean lines and contrast stitching, supported by a black-coated pedestal base with a four-star flared foot and geometric footrest. Authentication is present in multiple forms including recessed silver-toned metal badges reading cattelan italia on the seat backs, black woven fabric tags with cattelan italia and MADE IN ITALY, and printed labels on the undersides.
Condition report:
The stools are in good overall condition, showing signs of ex-display wear. The upholstery is clean with only minor natural creasing to the leather surfaces and all stitching appears intact. The metal bases exhibit minor surface wear and small marks consistent with use. Notably, one corner of the black base on the cream-coloured stool shows damage.
