Description
This collection comprises four contemporary Italian designer bar stools, featuring examples from manufacturers Calligaris and Cattelan Italia.
The group includes a pair of Calligaris Aida stools, one upholstered in black and the other in tan faux leather. Both are supported by slender black metal frames with curved, chrome-finished front footrests. The underside dust covers are printed with the repeating Calligaris logo.
Also by Calligaris is a stool featuring a cream-coloured nubuck-style fabric seat on a light-finished wooden frame. The frame is constructed with square-tapered legs and a metal-capped front footrest. This piece is identified by a silver-tone manufacturer label on the wooden seat rail and a branded dust cover.
The fourth stool is by Cattelan Italia, upholstered in grey leather or faux leather on a grey-finished tubular metal frame with an architectural black metal cross-stretcher. The underside displays a black ribbed fabric with a repeating white Cattelan Italia logo and retains an original certificate of origin and guarantee tag.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall used condition with some signs of wear consistent with age and use. The cream-coloured fabric stool shows visible surface soiling and light marking to the seat and backrest. Metal and wooden frames appear sturdy, showing only minor surface scuffs and light scratches. The leather and faux leather upholstery on the remaining stools is well-preserved with minimal wear.
