A collection of 8 cartons containing an extensive library of books and periodicals primarily focused on automotive history, motorsport, and military history. The automotive selection includes multiple volumes of Autocourse: The World’s Leading Grand Prix Annual and Motocourse annuals spanning the 1990s and early 2000s. Notable specialist titles include McLaren and B.R.M.: The Saga of British Racing Motors by Doug Nye, Ferrari’s Drivers by Michele Fromenteau, and The Jack Brabham Story by Sir Jack Brabham. Two copies of A French Kiss with Death by Steve McQueen published by Bentley Publishers and the 2001 Formula One Annual remain in their original publisher’s shrink-wrap. The history section features a shrink-wrapped six-volume set of Edward Gibbon’s The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire published by Everyman’s Library, alongside Roy Jenkins’ Churchill, James M. Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition with typical signs of shelf wear including light bumping to spine ends and corners. Several volumes and sets remain preserved in their original publisher’s shrink-wrap. Some dust jackets exhibit minor scuffing, edge wear, or sunning to the spines. Price stickers from previous retailers are present on some covers. The outer cardboard cartons show signs of handling and storage wear.
