Description
A pair of vintage 14-carat yellow gold cufflinks. Each cufflink features a rectangular face with a dual-textured design. The upper two-thirds of the face are finished with a fine vertical satin-brushed texture, while the lower third is detailed with deeper vertical ribbing. A polished horizontal recessed line separates the two textured sections. The cufflinks are designed with curved stems and swivel-back toggle closures. The stems are stamped with the fineness mark 585, indicating 14-carat gold, alongside the maker’s mark RS.
Total weight approx. 13.6 g.
Condition report:
The cufflinks are in good vintage condition with light surface scratches and minor abrasions consistent with age and regular wear. There is significant tarnish and oxidation present on the stems and toggle backs, showing characteristic purplish hues common in vintage gold alloys.
