Lot 63:
Description
A set of six Laguiole steak knives manufactured by the French firm G. David under the L’Arbalète brand. The knives are constructed with stainless steel blades and matching polished metal handles. Each knife follows the traditional Laguiole form, featuring a curved handle profile and a stylized bee motif on the bolster. The blades are marked with a tang stamp depicting a crossbow symbol followed by the text LAGUIOLE G. DAVID and INOX. The set is housed in its original black presentation box with a white moulded interior. The interior of the lid is printed with historical brand information, including the registration dates of 1922 and 1982. The original manufacturer guarantee pamphlet is also present.
Condition report:
The set is in excellent condition and appears to be unused. The blades retain their original factory finish with no evidence of sharpening or use. The polished metal handles are well-preserved. The presentation box shows only minor storage wear to the exterior.
