Lot 41:
Description
A pair of contemporary outdoor sun loungers or chaises longues, in the style of the Shore series by Modway. The frames are constructed from square-profile metal with a dark grey powder-coated finish. The reclining surfaces consist of inset horizontal slats, which appear to be a wood-composite material. Each lounger features an adjustable backrest with a notched support mechanism for multiple reclining positions. The head ends are equipped with integrated wheels for ease of movement, while the foot ends rest on fixed square legs. A small circular metal manufacturer plaque is located on the top slat of each backrest, though the text and branding are not clearly legible from the photographs.
Condition report:
The loungers are in used condition with visible signs of weathering and outdoor exposure. One slat at the foot end of the lighter-toned lounger has become detached, exposing the metal support rail and pre-drilled screw holes; the detached slat is included with the lot. General surface scuffing and minor marks are present on the metal frames.
