Description
Two vintage Micro Scalextric Formula 1 themed slot car racing sets, each presented in its original cardboard packaging with polystyrene inner trays. The first set, titled F1 Super Teams, includes two miniature racing cars in McLaren and Williams-style liveries. This set is accompanied by various track sections featuring yellow directional arrows, coloured guardrails, and a sticker sheet with international flags and sponsorship logos for brands including Mobil, Dunlop, and Bosch. The second set, titled Formula One, is identified on the box as featuring a Jordan Honda F1 v Williams FW20. It contains the respective yellow and red racing cars, track pieces including a lane-changer section, and a hand controller. Both sets date from the late 1990s and feature prominent Scalextric branding.
Condition report:
Both sets show signs of age and previous use. The outer cardboard boxes exhibit shelf wear, scuffing, creasing, and minor tearing to the corners and edges. The internal polystyrene trays have several visible breaks, segments of loss, and surface soiling. The contents appear to be incomplete, they are sold as seen and the electrical components have not been tested for functionality.
