Lot 162:
Description
A collection of vintage plastic model kits focused on Formula 1 and endurance racing vehicles, presented in their original packaging. The group includes several large and medium-scale examples from manufacturers including Tamiya and Protar. The assembly comprises a Tamiya 1/12 scale Tyrrell Ford F1 (Big Scale Series No. 9) featuring a detailed D.F.V. engine and movable suspension; two Tamiya 1/20 scale Tyrrell P34 Six Wheeler kits (Grand Prix Collection No. 1), including one motorised version; a Tamiya 1/20 scale Williams FW-07 (Grand Prix Collection No. 14); a Protar 1/24 scale Ferrari 126 C2 Turbo (Model 18194); and a 1/24 scale Ford GT40 Mark II depicting the number 1 car from the 1966 Le Mans 24-hour race. The kits contain various components including coloured plastic body shells and sprues, chrome-plated parts, rubber tyres, decal sheets, and instruction manuals. Most internal components remain in their original factory-sealed plastic bags. One box includes a Tamiya Model Magazine International subscription flyer.
Condition report:
The kits are unbuilt and appear to be largely complete with parts still on sprues or in bags. The original cardboard boxes show age-related wear, including surface scuffing, edge wear, light toning, and minor compression. The completeness of small parts, electrical components for the motorised version, and the viability of the vintage decals cannot be guaranteed. Sold as seen. Contents have not been checked for completeness.
