Description
A FLY Classic 1:32 scale slot car from the Steve McQueen Collection, featuring the Porsche 908 Flunder, reference number SM2. The model is constructed with a plastic body and rubber tyres, including a detailed interior with a driver figure wearing a red helmet. The car is finished in a dark blue and white racing livery with number 29 and Gulf sponsorship. Visible decals include Gulf, Porsche, Goodyear, and Shell logos. The model is mounted on a textured black plastic display plinth with gold-toned lettering that reads Porsche 908 Flunder 24 h Le Mans 1970. The vehicle is housed in its original maroon deluxe presentation box with a hinged lid. The interior of the lid contains photographic stills of Steve McQueen and the Porsche race car from the 1970 Le Mans 24 Hour race, along with a white facsimile signature. The exterior of the box is marked with the Steve McQueen Collection logo and FLY Classic 1/32. The lot includes the original maroon outer protective cardboard sleeve.
