A carton containing an assortment of vintage motorsport event programmes and military history publications primarily dating from the late 1990s and early 2000s. The collection features several official Formula 1 event programmes, including the 1999 Grand Prix Air Canada at Montreal, the 1998 69th Gran Premio Campari d Italia at Monza, and the 2003 United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis. Other motorsport ephemera includes the 1997 Miller 200 official program for the PPG CART World Series at Mid-Ohio, the 1997 PPG Cup Wide Open series guide, the 1997 FIA Grand Touring Championship official programme for Donington, and the 2003 Cinzano British Grand Prix MotoGP programme. Also included is a souvenir magazine for the 2001 MBNA Cal Ripken, Jr. 400 at Dover Downs and a programme for AJ Foyts Hulman Hundred. The lot also contains multiple illustrated softcover reference books from the Squadron/Signal Publications In Action series, specifically Sturmgeschütz in action (Armor No. 14, item 2014), Sherman in action (Armor No. 16, item 2016), Stuart U.S. Light Tanks in action (Armor No. 18, item 2018), PzKpfw 38(t) in action (item 2019), German Infantry in action (Weapons Number Two, item 3002), Waffen SS in action (Weapons Number Three, item 3003), and Panzergrenadier in action (item 3005). All items are staple-bound or softbound.
Condition report:
Overall good condition throughout the collection. Several of the publications are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves. Most items exhibit minor signs of handling such as light edge wear, shelf rubbing, and occasional soft creasing to the covers.
