The collection includes a variety of major and independent labels. Pop and rock highlights feature artists such as Spandau Ballet (Muscle Bound), Kool and the Gang (Straight Ahead), Status Quo (The Wanderer, Little Dreamer, She Don’t Fool Me), UB40 (If It Happens Again), Chaka Khan (I Feel For You), George Benson (Never Give Up On A Good Thing), The Staple Singers (Oh La De Da), and Stereo MC’s (Lost In Music). The reggae and dancehall portion of the collection includes numerous specialist labels such as Steely and Clevie, Digital-B, Jammys, El Paso, Arrows, Redman International, and Tigerman. Notable artist titles include Beenie Man (Set Up And Know Where You Stand), Wayne Wonder (Out Of My Life), Spragga Benz (Girls Hooray), Papa San (Hippity Hippity Hop), Tiger (Chaos), General T.K. (Warning), and Al Campbell (Red Hot). Other visible labels include Vertigo, WEA, DEP International, RCA, Stax, Arista, Charm, Powermatic, and Capricorn International. Several labels bear handwritten inscriptions, names, or initials such as Norma and R, typical of sound system or DJ collections.
