Description
A contemporary light-toned wood drop-leaf dining table and a set of matching folding chairs, designed in a Scandinavian style for space-saving utility. The tabletop is oval in form when extended, comprising a fixed rectangular centre panel and two rounded drop-leaves. The leaves are supported by swing-out gatelegs. The central pedestal base features an internal storage compartment for the chairs, accessed via a hinged door with a circular finger pull. The unit is mounted on twin-wheel ball castors for mobility. The matching folding chairs are constructed with slatted seats and rectangular slatted backrests, designed to fold flat for internal storage.
Condition report:
The set shows visible signs of heavy domestic use. The tabletop has several notable marks, including red stains, white heat and water marks, and general surface scuffing. There is wear and grime consistent with age and use throughout the base and chairs.
