Description
An assortment of vinyl records, primarily consisting of 12-inch singles and compilation LPs. The collection covers various electronic music genres from the 1990s and early 2000s, including House, Techno, Drum and Bass, Dance, and R&B. Included is a notable WEA Manufacturing test pressing for Willie Max, Can’t Get Enough (Motown), dated 17 September 1998. Promotional items include Garbage, When I Grow Up featuring Danny Tenaglia remixes; Enigma, Age of Loneliness on the Charisma label; and Friction and Nu Balance, Slipstream (Logistics Remix) on a Playaz DJ Promo. The collection features several influential Drum and Bass and Jungle labels such as Back 2 Basics Recordings (DJ Spice), Frontline Records (Sixty Six percent), Second Movement Recordings (Ultravibe), and Ebony Dubs. Commercial releases include the Telstar Records compilation The Dance Chart featuring 16 greatest dance, rap, and club hits, and singles by artists such as Mica Paris, Kristine W vs. Murk, Intuition featuring Gerideau, Wally Lopez and Dr Kucho, and Rawhill Cru. Many records are housed in their original picture sleeves, while others are in generic black or white cardboard sleeves. Some labels show handwritten notes and spindle marks.
