Description
A Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS telephoto zoom lens, designed for use with Canon APS-C format digital SLR cameras. The lens features a black composite barrel with a rubberised zoom ring and a focus ring, distinguished by a silver decorative accent band. It is equipped with an integrated optical Image Stabiliser (IS) and includes physical switches for selecting between Auto and Manual focus (AF/MF) and for the Stabiliser on/off function. The barrel is marked with focal lengths at 55, 70, 100, 135, 200, and 250mm. The front ring is inscribed with CANON EF-S LENS 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS and specifies a filter diameter of 58mm. A minimum focusing distance of 1.1m/3.6ft is indicated on the side of the barrel. The lens is accompanied by its original manufacturer’s retail box and a Canon clip-on front lens cap.
Condition report:
The lens appears to be in good cosmetic condition with minimal signs of handling wear to the barrel and rubberised grips. The front glass element appears clear and free from significant scratches or damage. The retail box shows minor wear to the edges and corners consistent with storage. The electronic and mechanical functions, including autofocus and the image stabilisation system, have not been tested.
