Description
This lot consists of two bottles of fortified wine. The first is a bottle of Cinzano Vermouth Bianco Speciale, produced by Francesco Cinzano and Comp. of Torino, Italy. This specific bottle was shipped and bottled by Cinzano (U.K.) Ltd, London, S.W.1. The label states the alcohol content is not less than 17% vol. and features traditional heraldic crests and medals indicating historical royal appointments. The second bottle is QC Rich Ruby, a fortified British wine produced in the United Kingdom. This bottle contains 70cl of wine with an alcohol content of 15% vol. The label includes a red and gold design with a crown emblem and notes regarding a long-standing production process. Both bottles are sealed with original screw caps. Cinzano volume: 1 Litre (estimated) QC volume: 70cl.
Condition report:
The Cinzano bottle shows significant signs of age-related wear to the labels, including foxing, staining, and minor paper losses at the edges. The liquid fill level is at the high shoulder/low neck. The blue screw cap closure remains intact. The QC bottle label is in generally good condition with minor surface scuffing. The liquid fill level is high in the neck. The black screw cap is intact.
