Description

A 750ml bottle of Rumona, a Jamaica rum liqueur produced and bottled by J. Wray and Nephew Ltd. of Kingston, Jamaica. The spirit is bottled at an alcohol content of 31 percent alc./vol. The front label features the product name Rumona in prominent red serif lettering with gold-coloured outlines, positioned over a black ribbon banner reading Jamaica Rum Liqueur. The background of the label depicts a landscape scene of sugarcane fields. At the top of the label is a circular trade mark emblem containing a figure and the date 1825, surmounted by a lizard or alligator. The producer’s name Wray and Nephew and the text Since 1825 are clearly displayed. The bottle is made of dark amber glass and is sealed with its original black screw-top cap. Web research indicates this specific label design and bottle size are characteristic of production from the late 1970s into the 1980s.

Condition report:

The bottle is unopened and the original black screw-top cap appears to be securely sealed. The fill level is observed at the mid-neck. The primary paper label shows minor signs of age-related wear, including slight scuffing and small nicks along the top and bottom edges, though all text and graphics remain clear. The glass bottle is free from chips or cracks.
