Description
This lot comprises a collection of assorted vinyl records and LPs, focusing on the genres of dance, hip-hop, R&B, and pop from the late 1980s through to the early 2000s. The assortment contains a mix of full-length albums, 12″ singles, and various promotional and DJ-oriented pressings. Notable artists and titles within the collection include Brazette – Ready 4 Love (12″ single), Fat Joe – Jealous Ones Still Envy, Shaggy – Wild 2nite, Chamillionaire – Industry Groupie, Heavy D – Big Daddy, Shawty Redd feat. Snoop Dogg – Drifter the remix, and Blu Cantrell – Make Me Wanna Scream. Dance and house titles include The Wee Papa Girl Rappers – Heat It Up, Jack ‘N’ Chill – The Jack That House Built, and Perfectly Ordinary People – Theme From P.O.P. Other highlights include Elton John – Sacrifice/Healing Hands, Full Force – Alice, I Want You Just For Me, and the K-Tel compilation Souled Out. The collection also includes several DJ-focused releases from labels such as AV8 Records. One notable item is the Brazette – Ready 4 Love 12″ single, which bears a handwritten inscription in black ink on the front cover reading: To Tony, Love Bazette, followed by a heart symbol and X. Many of the records include retail price stickers from UK-based vendors, such as Music & Video Exchange in Notting Hill, and several are marked as Clean Radio Version or For Promotional Use Only.
