Description
This lot comprises two pairs of men’s 8-eye lace-up boots by Dr. Martens, both sized UK 9.5 (US 10.5, EU 44). The first pair is the 1460 model, constructed from dark brown distressed oil-tanned leather. The boots feature classic yellow welt stitching, brass-tone eyelets, brown laces, and AirWair heel pull tabs. The interior tongue bears a silver-tone stamp identifying the model as 1460 and stating Made in Thailand. The soles are translucent PVC air-cushioned soles embossed with The ORIGINAL and technical icons for resistance to oil, fat, acid, petrol, and alkali. The second pair is the Berman model, crafted from tan suede uppers. These boots feature a sewn-on leather branded tag on the tongue, matching tan laces, yellow welt stitching, and AirWair heel pull tabs. The interior tongue bears a black printed stamp identifying the model as BERMAN, Made in Thailand, with technical codes AW501 and CK 04 W. The translucent PVC soles feature air-cushioned technology and technical resistance specifications. Heel height: 1.25 inches.
Condition report:
The Dr. Martens 1460 boots are in pre-owned condition with significant signs of wear. The leather uppers show heavy creasing across the vamps and multiple scuffs, particularly at the toes. The soles show moderate wear to the tread, especially at the heels. The Dr. Martens Berman boots are in good pre-owned condition with light matting to the suede and minimal wear to the soles consistent with gentle use.
