Description
A Playmobil James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition toy set, model number 70578. The set is constructed from injection-moulded plastic and features a silver Aston Martin DB5 vehicle equipped with an opening roof panel, ejector seat mechanism, extending tyre slashers, and a retractable bulletproof rear shield. The set includes a group of Playmobil figures comprising James Bond, Goldfinger, Oddjob, and a Henchman, alongside gold bar accessories and the original instruction manual. The components are presented within the original retail packaging with black cardboard interior display inserts. Printed marks on the box and packaging include playmobil, 007 with the gun logo, Aston Martin with the winged emblem, James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition, and the set number 70578. Character names Henchman, Oddjob, Goldfinger, and James Bond are printed on the inner display tray.
Condition report:
The vehicle, figures, and gold bar accessories appear to be in very clean condition, showing minimal to no signs of play wear or handling. The instruction booklet is present and intact. The original cardboard retail box is complete but exhibits moderate shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge peeling particularly along the lower borders, and minor creasing with small tears to the corners.
