Description
A collection of vintage and contemporary costume and semi-precious jewellery, presented in a multi-tiered burgundy faux-leather vanity box featuring a top handle and gold-tone clasp. The lot contains an assortment of necklaces, bracelets, brooches, rings, and earrings in yellow and white metal tones. Identified markings include a gold-tone bangle stamped 9CT GOLD METAL CORED, 50 MICRONS, with a maker’s mark of PP in circles. A locket is stamped ROLLED GOLD on the bail. Significant items include a large enamel bird brooch, a heart-shaped brooch set with multi-coloured aurora borealis rhinestones, and a gold-tone brooch set with a large faceted amber-coloured glass stone. The collection further includes a silver-tone filigree star pendant, a link bracelet set with amber-coloured cabochons, and silver-tone hoop earrings with KISS script. Also present is a Celtic-style pendant with an amber-coloured stone and red glass pepper charms, a green hardstone ring, various chains, a commemorative coin in a TSB branded sleeve, and a St. Joseph religious medal.
Condition report:
The items show typical signs of wear consistent with age, including surface scratches and light tarnish to metal components. Minor oxidation is present on the locket bail. The vanity box shows some surface scuffs but is in functional condition.
