Description
A dreadnought-style acoustic guitar manufactured in Israel by Yuval Musical Instruments Ltd. The instrument features a natural-finished spruce top and reddish-brown mahogany back and sides with a decorative inlaid centre strip. The mahogany neck supports a dark wood fingerboard, likely rosewood, matching the bridge. It is equipped with six chrome-finished enclosed tuning machines and a black teardrop pickguard. The interior of the soundhole reveals a circular white label on a brown backing, printed with the text THIS FINELY CRAFTED INSTRUMENT HAS BEEN CREATED IN ISRAEL BY YUVAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS LTD. The label includes handwritten notations in red ink for Model 1131 and R.N. 40-064, along with a signature. The headstock is adorned with the stylised yellow yuval logo. The guitar is accompanied by a black hardshell case featuring a blue plush-lined interior and white exterior piping.
Condition report:
The guitar is in good overall used condition. There are minor surface scuffs and signs of wear to the top, particularly near the lower bout. The bridge pins and saddle are present and intact. The strings are currently haphazardly wound and will require complete replacement and a professional setup. The hardshell case shows external scuffing and wear; one metal latch appears to be loose or damaged.
