Description
This lot comprises an assortment of vintage Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) items and memorabilia from the Wizards of the Coast era. The collection includes holofoil cards, specifically a Pichu (12/111) and an Ampharos (1/111), both English language rares from the Neo Genesis expansion. Also included is a Dragonite Wizards of the Coast Black Star Promo (#5) printed with Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie text. The lot contains a pair of Japanese language Ancient Mew promotional cards, distinguished by their runic script and full-card holofoil treatment. The wider card collection includes a mix of Pokémon, Trainer, and Energy cards from the Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge, and Neo Genesis sets. Specific cards within this group include Dark Dragonair, Dark Electrode, and various Gym series common and uncommon cards. Accompanying the cards is a boxed Pokémon Battling Coin Game by Hasbro, presented in a clear plastic jewel case. Condition report:
The trading cards are in ungraded, circulated condition ranging from Lightly Played to Heavily Played. The Pichu holofoil shows significant edge whitening on the reverse and surface scratching to the holographic area. The Ampharos card exhibits moderate corner softening and edge wear. The Dragonite promo shows silvering and wear to the edges. Both Ancient Mew cards are heavily worn, with visible surface scuffing and corner creasing. The general collection of cards shows typical signs of play, including edge whitening, corner wear, and surface marks. The Battling Coin Game jewel case has visible scuffing and surface scratches, though the internal game components appear complete and well-preserved.
