Description
A 1/6th scale articulated collectible figure of the robot Midas from the motion picture Real Steel, manufactured by ThreeA (3A). The figure is constructed from plastic with a factory-applied weathered gold and maroon paint finish designed to simulate battle wear. Design features include black tribal-style decals, a translucent red fibre-optic mohawk crest, and intricate mechanical detailing throughout the joints and midsection. The figure is engineered with internal LED components intended for light-up functions. The item is accompanied by its original yellow and maroon illustrated cardboard packaging and a custom-cut dark grey foam protective tray. Printed markings on the box include the character name Midas, the franchise title Real Steel, and the ThreeA skull logo. Technical text on the reverse specifies the requirement for three AG1 or compatible coin cell batteries.
Condition report:
The figure appears in good condition, with the observed scuffing, paint chipping, and surface grime being part of the original factory-applied weathered aesthetic. The packaging shows significant wear consistent with handling and storage, including edge wear, surface scuffs, and multiple tears. Heavy black adhesive tape has been applied to several areas of the box exterior for reinforcement and repair. The plastic film window is missing from the front flap. Electronic light-up functions remain untested.
