Description
This Viking Scirroco road bicycle features a lightweight aluminium frame finished in a blue and yellow colour scheme. The frame displays several markings including Viking, Scirroco, and the manufacturer website address on the chainstays. The bicycle is equipped with a Shimano drivetrain consisting of a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur, a Shimano front derailleur, and a Shimano MF-TZ21 7-speed freewheel. Gear changes are managed by Shimano handlebar-mounted thumb shifters. The wheelset comprises Viking Race A-350 double-wall road rims fitted with 700 x 23C tyres. It is fitted with side-pull rim brakes, a Neco headset top cap, platform pedals, and a Viking VKR4 saddle marked Dal Disegno Ergonomico.
Frame size: approximately 21 inches from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube.
Condition report:
The bicycle is in poor to fair condition, displaying significant signs of age and environmental exposure. There is heavy oxidation and rust visible on the chain, chainrings, freewheel, spokes, and various bolts, including the saddle rails and stem hardware. The orange handlebar tape is heavily worn, peeling, and damaged. The frame shows various scuffs, scratches, and paint chips. This item is offered as-is and will require a comprehensive mechanical service and the replacement of multiple components, likely including the chain, cables, and tyres, before being road-worthy.
