Description
A collection of modern British Army personal equipment and uniform items, documenting the service transition from woodland Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) to Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP). The load-carrying equipment comprises an infantry bergen in MTP camouflage with two detachable zip-on side pockets and coyote tan plastic buckles; a Personal Load Carrying Equipment (PLCE) infantry bergen in woodland DPM with olive green webbing and black plastic hardware; an MTP patrol pack or daysack featuring external MOLLE webbing; and a heavy-duty tan canvas kit bag with side carry handles and a drawstring top. The kit bag is inscribed with handwritten black ink markings identifying the owner as HARCOMBE with the additional characters CO and 840. The clothing component, housed in a plastic storage container, consists of an assortment of British Army MTP combat garments. Notable items include windproof combat smocks with sleeve panels, combat trousers, and a tan thermal jacket with a specialized metallic dot-patterned lining.
