Description
A collection of vinyl LP records and one box set featuring a variety of contemporary indie, hip hop, and classic soul titles. Featured artists and albums include several by Sufjan Stevens, specifically Illinois, The Age of Adz, Carrie and Lowell, The Ascension, and A Beginner’s Mind recorded with Angelo De Augustine. The lot contains two Nirvana titles, In Utero and MTV Unplugged in New York, the latter being a Back To Black 180 gram remastered edition. Other contemporary titles include Capacity and Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You by Big Thief, alongside Bright Future and Songs and Instrumentals by Adrianne Lenker. Further albums include Blonde by Frank Ocean (2LP set), good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar, For All We Know by NAO, and All Hail the Queen by Queen Latifah. Classic soul and pop are represented by Stevie Wonder with Uptight (Everything’s Alright) and Daniel Johnston with Welcome to My World. Compilations and soundtracks include a Disney Tarzan Picture Disc, the Original Broadway Cast recording of Hair, Prestige Soul Masterpieces, and a Motown Chartbusters: 150 Hits of Gold box set. The NAO – For All We Know cover features a hand-written dedication on the front in black marker reading To Shahad I [heart symbol] U NAO x x x. The reverse of the Queen Latifah sleeve has a hand-written inscription in ink reading Sheena Nagy April 1990. Retail markings include a red Back To Black 60th Vinyl Anniversary hype sticker on the Nirvana Unplugged cover and an HMV Store sticker on the Daniel Johnston album.
