Description
A collection of contemporary photography books and art periodicals presented in a carton containing various formats and titles. The group includes a softcover edition of Peter Hujar’s Portraits in Life and Death, featuring an introduction by Susan Sontag and a foreword by Benjamin Moser; this volume remains sealed in the original publisher’s shrinkwrap. Also included is Other Intimacies by Anna Sampson, a hardcover volume bound in black cloth with gilt-stamped titles and a tipped-in photographic plate to the front board. Maite de Orbe’s The Infamous Spaghetti Sisters, starring Angel Baby and Lucinda B. Hind, is an oversized work in red wrappers fastened with a black ribbon. The collection further includes Slanted 45, a themed issue on sex in a thick-format blue softcover, and Dust Mag Issue 002: Reality Paradox, featuring contributors such as Jesse Glazzard, Bruce LaBruce, and Sasha Chaika. The items range in size from approximately octavo to folio.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall very good condition. One volume remains sealed in the original publisher\'s plastic wrap. The remaining volumes show minimal evidence of shelf wear, with sharp corners and clean wrappers. The ribbon tie on the de Orbe volume is present and undamaged.
