Description
A commercial vertical rotisserie, commonly known as a doner kebab or shawarma machine, manufactured by Archway Sheet Metal Works Ltd. This model, identified as 4B STDAR1 / NG, is constructed from stainless steel and features four ceramic infrared burners arranged vertically. Each burner is controlled by an independent black plastic knob located on the side of the unit. The rotisserie includes two hinged, adjustable stainless steel heat shields and a central spit with a circular base plate. A removable drip tray is situated at the base to collect fat and residue. The unit is fitted with a rear-mounted 2RPM electric motor for rotating the spit, operated by toggle switches on the front panel alongside red indicator lights. A manufacturer’s data plate on the rear provides full technical specifications, including serial number 230213 07:30 024. The unit is configured for natural gas (G20) with a nett heat input of 13.6 kW and a supply pressure of 20 mbar. Electrical requirements are 230V, 50Hz, 26W. It is supplied with a yellow commercial-grade gas hose featuring a bayonet connection. The unit carries UKCA 0086 and CE 2797 certification marks.
Condition report:
The unit is presented in used commercial condition. There is visible grease residue and surface staining throughout the interior and exterior surfaces. Minor oxidation is present on the burner mesh and internal stainless steel components. The exterior casing shows typical wear and minor scuffing from service in a kitchen environment. This item is untested and is sold as seen.
