Description
This lot comprises a collection of contemporary clothing and footwear presented in six storage boxes. The assortment includes a mixture of recognised Western brand-name apparel and decorative garments featuring traditional West African-style prints and techniques.
The apparel selection includes a bright blue, fine-wale corduroy long-sleeved button-down shirt. The chest is detailed with a small red embroidered logo of a polo player on a horse, and a partial interior label reads POLO. The shirt is adorned with a small rectangular pin featuring blue and light blue horizontal stripes. Also included are several garments and textiles featuring vibrant wax print patterns in multiple colourways, including green and orange, red, blue and black, and an orange and white design with shell motifs. A mustard-yellow garment features an overall leaf-like pattern with white zigzag embroidery at the neckline and rows of white decorative stitching. A formal light-coloured garment is decorated with a large-scale orange sequinned and beaded floral and feathered applique on the chest, accented with green fabric.
The footwear includes two pairs of adult-sized shoes. One pair consists of white leather-style athletic sneakers with the Reebok logo and name visible on the lateral side. The second pair comprises beige foam-style footwear featuring distinctive perforated cut-outs, designed in the style of Yeezy Foam Runners.
The items are constructed from various materials including cotton corduroy, printed cotton textiles, and synthetic foam.
