Description
A folio-sized fashion monograph titled Valentino: Mirabilia Romae, published by Assouline. The volume features an introduction by Francesco Bonami with photography by Laziz Hamani. The book is bound in publisher’s cream-coloured cloth with the title stamped in black on the front cover and spine. It is housed in a decorative slipcase that features a vibrant multi-image photographic collage on the side panels and a white spine with black printed text. The interior contains numerous full-page colour and black and white photographic plates documenting the work of the fashion house Valentino against the backdrop of Rome. No signatures, bookplates, or previous ownership inscriptions are present.
Condition report:
The volume and slipcase are in good overall condition. The slipcase shows minor signs of shelf wear, including light bumping to the corners and very minor rubbing to the edges. The cloth binding remains clean and the internal pages appear bright and well-preserved with a tight binding.
